How to spot a fake peptide site

By Shaun Tucker · Updated Oct 10, 2026

Every fake in our case files failed at least two of these seven checks. None of them takes more than a couple of minutes.

  1. Read the address bar, letter by letterImitators change one word, add a number, or swap the ending. If you searched for a brand, the domain should match the one printed on the brand's own packaging and emails.
  2. Look up when the domain was registeredUse any free WHOIS or RDAP lookup. A “trusted since 2019” vendor on a domain created last month is not who it says it is. Most of the fakes in our case files were under four months old.
  3. Find the checkoutA real vendor has product pages, a cart and a payment page on its own site. If the only way to buy is a chat app, you are dealing with a broker with no order record.
  4. Check how they want to be paidCard checkout gives you a dispute path. Wire transfer, crypto, gift cards and person-to-person payment apps do not. A seller who accepts only those has removed your way back.
  5. Verify the certificate with the labA PDF proves nothing on its own. A genuine certificate names the lab, carries a report or task number, and can be confirmed on the lab's own site. Match the batch number to your vial.
  6. Test the discount in your own cartA code is worth what the checkout says. Apply it before you believe the headline.
  7. Look for a named person and a real addressFounder name, business address, a working email. A placeholder email or no contact page at all is a reason to stop.

Questions

What is the fastest check?

The address bar and the domain's registration date. Together they catch most imitators in under a minute.

Does a professional-looking site mean it is real?

No. Site templates are cheap. One look-alike store in our files had a polished shop and a placeholder contact email.

Is a low price a warning sign?

On its own, no. Combined with chat-only ordering or transfer-only payment, yes.
