False discount“40% off” peptide coupon posts
By Shaun Tucker · How we verify
Posts on platforms that have nothing to do with peptides advertise 30–40% off a vendor's products. The codes exist, but each one is a 10% code.
Subject
Posts on a software community forum, an electronics-simulator site and similar hosts
Evidence
- We added a $49.99 item to a cart at the vendor's real checkout on Oct 10, 2026 and applied each advertised code.
- Every working code removed exactly $5.00, which is 10%.
- One advertised code was rejected by the checkout as a code that does not exist.
- One post still carried its generator's note describing the text as “a more aggressive SEO/affiliate version”.
Why it matters
The harm is small: you lose a minute and get 10% instead of 40%. The signal matters more. A page that invents a discount is not checking anything else it tells you.
What to do
Treat any peptide discount above 10–15% as unverified until you see it applied in your own cart.
